Briana Stuart | Dancer

Briana Stuart received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 2013. She has worked with choreographers such as Lindsey Merchant, Melissa Beck, Jessica Fogel, Christopher Huggins, Shen Wei, Germaul Barnes, Jakari Sherman, Sarah Ewing and Dianne McIntyre. Briana has performed and taught, nationally and internationally with StepAfrika!, the world's first dance company dedicated to the art form of stepping, and modern dance company S. J. Ewing & Dancers at venues including numerous colleges/universities,  Washington DC's City Rhythms Festival, The Hill Center, Catholic University's Hartke Theater, the Velocity DC Festival, Guantanamo Bay Naval Base as well as many others. She has been invited to perform a contemporary modern dance solo in Dance Place's 2014 New Releases Choreographers Showcase and Joy of Motion's 2014 Dance Project Showcase. Most recently, she served as the assistant choreographer on the American Theater’s Company’s production of The Project(s) in Chicago, IL, rated 4 stars by the Chicago Tribune.
